Description of the site of natural interest
Site suitable for cave lovers. Starting from the site buoy, the wall slopes down to a depth of 35 m where it is possible to find a first cave characterised by yellow cluster anemone (Parazoanthus axinellae) and red coral (Corallium rubrum). At an altitude of 22 m, there is a second through cave, where it is possible to see many small shrimps. Continuing upwards, there are several cracks rich in flora and fauna, where you can often see large european conger (Conger conger) and mediterranean moray (Muraena helena). If you continue on 10 m, you can see a rift, which on the inside opens up into a splendid amphitheatre. This is divided into two canals, the one on the right rising up to the surface. This site is characterised by an abundance of fish, including dusky grouper (Epinephelus marginatus), brown meagre (Sciaena umbra), common dentex (Dentex dentex) and great barracuda (Sphyraena viridensis).
